Our Founder

Reverend
Pamela L. Ward, the daughter of the late Mary J. Ward, II & Mary
Bailey Ward, is a fifth-generation preacher.
Ward,
raised in Mississippi by her grandparents, the late Rev. Amzie &
Mrs. Carrie Bailey, served as her grandfather’s secretary from age 7
to 17. She was very active in the Baptist Training Union serving as
a youth leader, junior missionary, musician, and choir director.
Pamela
received her license to preach in 1996 in the African Methodist
Episcopal Church by the late Presiding Elder William Lee Freeman
while serving faithfully in her local church. Ward was ordained
into Christian ministry in 2009 into the office of pastor by her
apostolic covering, Pastors Akintunde & Rosalind Phillips. She has
organized and serves as pastor of her first church, Grace Alive
International Christian Fellowship, a place of prayer, praise,
power, and infallible proof!
She is a
human service professional receiving her academic training from The
Audrey Cohen School of Human Services, Metropolitan College of New
York, and Outreach Training Institute. She has worked over fifteen
years with survivors of addiction, sexual abuse, domestic violence,
HIV/AIDS, and those formerly incarcerated. She has received numerous
awards, citations, and proclamations for her dedication and
commitment to eradicating domestic violence and social injustices.
An
accomplished poet, playwright, composer, psalmist, and entrepreneur;
she is passionate and dedicated to serving the hurting and
un-churched with dignity and respect. As founder/CEO of Redeemed
Outreach Ministries, her team is on the frontline as advocates for
inner-city families; providing a plethora of free, quality services
promoting the self-worth and healing of women, their children, and
families surviving domestic violence, poverty, social injustices,
and those formerly incarcerated. She values the opportunity to
serve as mother and mentor to her daughter. |
